Who We Are
Blue Jay Studios is an independent American furniture studio dedicated to the discipline of solid hardwood joinery and collectible contemporary form.
Rather than producing seasonal collections or mass production runs, we create limited, numbered editions of sculptural dining tables. Each piece is designed, engineered, and hand-finished within our workshop.

Where We Come From
Our studio was formed around a singular conviction: that contemporary furniture should possess the enduring material integrity of heirloom woodworking alongside the formal audacity of modern sculpture.
Working in the American woodworking tradition, our fabrication process pairs centuries-old bench techniques—hand-scraping, timber matching, and grain continuous profiling—with high-tolerance architectural framing.
What We Build
We specialize exclusively in large-format solid dining tables. We view the dining table as the spiritual center of architectural space—an object of daily ritual and visual gravity.
Our initial studio portfolio centers on two distinct geometric expressions: the rectilinear, monolithic Paul Table and the pure radial Round Table. Both designs are realized in solid hardwoods including American Black Walnut and White Oak.

Our Design Ethos
Permanence Over Novelty. We reject disposable design and fleeting trends. We design objects intended to physically outlive generations and aesthetically command modern architectural spaces.
Authenticity of Material. We celebrate the density, warmth, and natural movement of solid American timber. We do not use paper veneers or faux finishes.
Sculptural Presence. Every proportion, edge taper, and shadow gap is deliberated to ensure the table functions as a silent art object in repose.
